I love this game! I really hope there will be a sequel.
I liked the story and the characters, the graphics and the interface. It was also just the right level of difficulty for me.
I hope you’ll be making many more.
Regards,
Gina

I’ve been having problems with starting the game. i get a Direct Player Error (saying “Script error. Continue?” and a Yes/No choice). when i click Yes, it get another Direct Player Error. i click Yes again.
And then, when starting a new game, once i click the New Game button, nothing happens.

Hi. I’ve been getting a couple of e-mails on this problem, too. I just asked Greg who made the game engine and he says that this might be a general incompatibility with computer systems that don’t have all western-roman character sets installed … particularly Geneva. Unfortunately there’s nothing he can do - he’s not getting any money and is busy with his job. So I could only give you the advice to try to play it on another machine.

Best freeware adventure I have played. Great story, well drawn and animated, music is brilliant. Not too hard. Just wish that the dialogs were spoken.
5/5

The maker of Something Amiss spoke a little about this game on his site. I thought ‘why not, let’s check it out’. I downloaded it on my computer. Man, what a game. All of my suspicions flew away.
I’ve played Curse of the Monkey Island too, and the graphics - I love ‘em in both games (yours and theirs)! ;D
The WMYT worked just fine on my computer. Thank God it did.
And there IS a sequel coming? Wouldn’t it be just mean to let Vincent steal Nora’s heart? ![]()

I loved the game, it’s brilliant, great graphics and story line! I got a bit lost with the bottle and I had to use the walkthrough by Bert Jamin. Only had one director script error when I put the badges in the bird the first time (currently using windows with the latest flash updates), but I was able to keep playing WMYT. As jazz said when is the sequel coming?

It’s very difficcult to find quality freeware games these days, and that’s especially true for adventure games. Playing this reminded me so much of the classic LEC games, I absolutely loved it. The ending was brilliant and I hope this means that there will be a sequel.

I came across a small bug when we get trapped by vincent when I tried to use the cuppboard where some of our items are, I come across an error message and my items get triplicated. Some small details in the using of items a somewhat wierdness sometimes, besides that a suberb game.

PC GAMER, November 2007 edition describes the game as a “gentle, humorous game with a smashing ambient-swish of a soundtrack.” That got me curious, so I checked out your site and am now awaiting it to download and I’ll get cracking
Thank you for the time, effort and trouble of making this game ^^

Thanks so much for the game, it was featured in PC Gamer UK, and being an adventure fan with a system that prefers non-demanding games, this was just what I was looking for! Not that I want to spoil anything for anyone, but I can’t wait for you to continue the story, it’s pretty darn gripping! I enjoyed your wonderful little references to the Giants of the Genre, and your illustration is also superb, it’s hard to fault your excellent work.

Wow, this game is amazing. The story just grabs you right in. The graphics are so smooth, it’s lovely to watch. I love the atmospheric music. It’s hard to find games of this quality - thankyou. I look forward to the sequel, what will become of Nora.

Hi! I really like WMYT and I want to do a review about it on my blog, if you have no problems with it. I may use some screenshots I’ve made while playing the game.
Anyway I had a problem. When I’m in the house I’m supposed to clean the metal thing before using it. I’ve found out that if I use the bottle again on the cocktail shaker (for a second time) I can’t wet the cloth with the rest of the alcohol inside the almost empty bottle. That got me stucked and had to play it all over again.
I can translate the game into spanish for you if you want to, just ask me to!
